This concealed mount grab bar has heavy duty flanges welded to grab bar tube and is attached to the wall using tenon plates and hex screws. To install it, the tenon plate is first mounted to the wall (fasteners not included). Next, the grab bar is slipped on to the tenon plates and the three pointed hex bolts (included) are screwed in to lock the flange against the tenon plate. This method has the advantage of covering the fasteners with a decorative flange and also of allowing the mount points to be worked on, one at a time, without having to hold the grab bar in place at the same time.
Higheset quality type 304 stainless steel alloy 18-8. 18 Guage thickness.
Mandrell bending process ensures uniform bar diameters.
