What is Bradley Electrocoat?
The new Elvari collection by Bradley introduces 5 new colorways and a consistent, easy to maintain finish with smudge and fingerprint resistance.
Bradley Electrocoat is a process that uses electrically charged particles to apply color to stainless steel parts. The result is a consistent color across the entire part, while still allowing the stainless steel's grain to show through. Bradley electrocoat is durable, easy to clean, and resistant to fingerprints, stains, and corrosion.
The process involves dipping metal parts into a paint bath and applying a direct current (DC) charge. This creates an electric field that attracts the paint to the metal.
It is generally thought to be superior to powder coating as it can create a more even and predictable result, especially on complex parts.
Consistent Color: Bradley Elvari series products will match across fixtures (mirrors will match paper towel dispensers which will match toilet paper holders, etc.).
Fingerprint Resistant Finish: Anyone with a stainless steel fixture or appliance can tell you that fingerprints and smudges are a part of daily life. The Bradley Electrocoating process provides a translucent finish that dramatically minimizes these.
100% Even Coverage: Unlike powder coating, E-coating involves completely submerging each part in a liquid bath. Meaning that the entire product will be covered in the finish in a uniform layer.
Bradley Elvari products are US Environment Listed as GreenGuard Gold Certified. A 98% transfer efficiency, means significantly less waste into the environment.
