Elkay Part 55996C Inlet Strainer [Fits most Elkay & Halsey Taylor Fountains]
Genuine OEM part. This strainer is located at the water inlet of the drinking fountain. It traps any coarse sediment that may damage the valves or other components of the drinking fountain. Works with most Elkay and Halsey Taylor drinking fountains. Can be retrofitted (or replaced) easily.
NOTE: This part is, like other Elkay filters, designed as a consumable. It cannot be cleaned out. Periodically, depending on how much sediment is present in the water supply, when flow becomes reduced, it will need to be replaced.
