The XLERATOR® by Excel Dryer is one of those terrific products that really lives up to it's reputation.
Performance wise, it is second to none. In fact, in a recent PCR study, by UL Environment (a division of UL, Underwriter's Laboratories), the XLERATOR® recorded dry times as low as 8 seconds1
In terms of energy usage, it was shown to use 3.7 Wh1 accumulated energy use which turns out to be about 50¢ per 1000 uses!
Made in the USA, with quality, commercial grade components, the XLERATOR® will pay for itself many times over in saved paper towel and janitorial costs over it's operational life. And in the rare case where a problem does occur, an externally visible service indicator shows information on where the problem lies for easy diagnosis and repair.
1 Dry time and energy use testing performed by SGS International on standard XLERATOR/XLERATOReco® Hand Dryers with 0.8" nozzle to 0.25g or less of residual moisture, pursuant to the UL Environment Global Product Category Rules (PCR) for Hand Dryers.

My clients love this
by Geneveve -
I have a hair salon and we've taken the time to pick decor and fixtures that reflect the high-end clients we attract. When it came time to remodel the bathrooms, I wanted to use hand dryers, because, let's face it, stylists can be a messy crowd. I think it's something about being so particular in their jobs, that they have no patience for anything else (at least that's my theory and I'm sticking with it.)
ANYWHO, these dryers are really good looking and go with our black and gray decorations. A lot of people think they are very noisy (and they can be), but they come with a knob inside to lower the noise level and we didn't have to turn it down much to be tolerable, but still quicker than the other ones I've tried in restaurant bathrooms, etc. You know the ones... We also had the electrician install a larger "noise reduction" nozzle (which Berl's also sells - it's cheap).
